The R.Tucker Thompson Leadership Development Challenge is a programme designed to challenge, test and develop potential business leaders. The full programme is a 5-day voyage however shorter customised voyages can be tailored to suit differing needs.
Sailing a tall ship is not just about handling a boat on the water. To succeed, the crew needs to operate as a team, working together to sail the ship. There’s no room for egos on board a tall ship - instead leadership, encouragement, co-operation and teamwork are required to set a true course.
On the R.Tucker Thompson Leadership Development Challenge, up to 10 participants will spend their time together learning new skills. During the course of the programme, every person will assume a watch leader role and at least one night sail will be included. On the final day, the group will select their own Ship's captain and First Mate and together putting the skills they have learned into practice, bring the tall ship home.
360 degree feedback will be provided by the teams at the end of each day and individuals will be assessed throughout the programme. A report will be provided to participant's managers at the end of the voyage.

$2,500+ GST per day May-October
$4,250+ GST per day November-April
